Hearty Three Meat Chili

Chili is often referred to as comfort food. Using our Chili Seasoning it can be made with ground meat or a plant based meat alternative. Spicy, warm and satisfying. The best pot of chili is one that’s had the opportunity to simmer for a few hours. This can be done on the stove over very low heat, in the oven or in a slow cooker. Depending on your circumstances, select the option best for you.


4 - 6 Servings

This chili can absolutely be made with one type of meat, however if you have the opportunity to make a blend of meat. Alternatively, you can also suitable a plant based meat alternative.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound lean ground beef

1 pound ground pork

1 pound ground bison

1 large onion, chopped

2 sweet peppers, chopped

1 seeded jalepano, seeded (maintain seeds and membrane if you prefer your chili a little spicier.

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 cup Tasty Kitchen Creations Chili Seasoning

1 tsp Tasty Kitchen Creations Hot Sauce of your choice (optional)

1 can crushed tomatoes

1 can tomato sauce

1 bottle of beer

2 cans Six Bean Mix, rinsed and drained

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Brown meat. Add diced onion, peppers, garlic and spices. Allow to cook until onions are slightly softened.

  2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and beer.

  3. Allow to simmer for at least 1 hour.

  4. Add beans and allow to continue cooking for a minimum 15 minutes.

Serve in a bowl, on its own, or over a bed of white rice. Great with a side of cornbread muffins.
